Chance UK continue to strive for the highest level of evidence of children’s outcomes, therefore Chance UK is amongst the first organisations to currently prepare for standard level three of Project Oracle. Project Oracle is funded by the Greater London Authority (GLA), the Mayor’s Office for Police and Crime (MOPAC) and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and aim to align project evaluations with their five standards of evidence for children and youth services. Standard level three shows that a service has undertaken evaluation that draws a consistent link between the project and the change in outcomes, indicating that the project has caused the observed changes. The Randomised Control Trial being conducted by Chance UK will provide the comparison group data required for standard level three. Chance UK also submitted an entrance for Project Oracle’s Evidence Competition in regards to outlining the process to reach standard level three; the results will be announced at Project Oracle’s Evidence Competition Award Ceremony on 23rd September 2014.
