Attention-deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Many of Chance UK's children suffer from ADHD, a disorder characterized by a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity, as well as forgetfulness, poor impulse control or impulsivity, and distractibility.

Bullying 

Bullying is a reasonably common difficulty for the children that we provide mentors for. Often the child is the victim of bullying in school because of their difficulties, but sometimes the child may express their negative emotions by bullying others.
