London has a wide variety of museums with all sorts of child-friendly exhibitions taking place. Choose a museum and widen your child’s horizons.

Design Museum
The Design Museum, situated a 15 min walk from London Bridge along the Thames, is one of the world’s leading museums devoted to contemporary design in every form from furniture to graphics, and architecture to industrial design.

Hamstead Museum
Hampstead's colourful history can be traced back to prehistoric times, and its story is told in Hampstead Museum, on the first floor of Burgh House.

The Roald Dahl Museum
This museum in Buckinghamshire educates the public in the art of literature by the provision and maintenance of a museum and literature centre based on the works of Roald Dahl.

Canal Museum
At the London Canal Museum you can see inside a narrowboat cabin, learn about the history of London's canals, about the cargoes carried, the people who lived and worked on the waterways, and the horses that pulled their boats.
