‘Dyllan’s behaviour at first was very disruptive. He wouldn’t listen. I had to set rules. It took about three months before he stopped breaking them all the time and having temper tantrums, but after that he got better and better. He likes sport but his mum is on her own with two younger children and it’s hard to take him to do it. I think me being a man was a big part of it for Dyllan.’
