Rough guide to Arsenal
Most of Chance UK's children support Arsenal, so here are a few key facts about the north London team for mentors who aren't obsessed with football!
- they play at the Emirates stadium, which has a capacity of 60,000 - they finished 3rd in the Premiership in 2007-8 season
- they reached the Champions League quarter finals in the same season, before being knocked out by Liverpool
- their most famous players are strikers Emmanuel Adebayor, Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie, and midfielders Cesc Fabregas, Alexander Hleb and Thomas Rosicky.
- their bitter rivals are north London team Tottenham Hotspur aka Spurs.
- their manager, Arsene Wenger, has managed the club for the last 12 years.
