The delivery of our service in Camden is part of a pilot project which will support 25 children to develop key social and emotional skills and strategies to regulate emotional and behavioural difficulties through a 9 month mentoring programme and group sessions.

Drawing on the latest available evidence as well as extensive insights and input from children and families, we are delivering an exciting pilot programme in Camden.

The programme in Camden is aimed at children aged 5-12 years old who are experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties. The intervention supports them to reduce their difficulties now, whilst developing key social and emotional skills that can protect them from risks in the future.

Children will receive nine months of individual mentoring taking place weekly outside of school hours aimed at having new and fun experiences, reflecting on challenges and creating goals that facilitate behaviour change. Alongside this, there will be group based sessions and parent engagement.
