Refer a child

Chance UK are currently running four different mentoring programmes, across six London Boroughs.

We have recently renamed our core service, which has been running in Islington for 25 years and Lambeth for 12 years, to the Explore and Empower programme (E&E for short!). Rest assured, although the name may have changed, the award-winning quality service has not.

Each of our programmes is delivered slightly differently, below you will find a list of our programmes; which boroughs each is offered in; and how to refer. For more information on each, click the programme’s tab to the left or the read more button.

Please note that we welcome referrals from any individual, although there are sections of the referral that must be completed by the child’s school and the child’s main parent/carer.

Explore & Empower is Chance UK’s flagship early intervention programme that supports 5-12 year old children with behavioural and emotional difficulties and their parents/carers.

This programme empowers children to develop their skills, confidence and life aspirations through weekly mentoring sessions alongside 1:1 and group support for parent/carers.

The families we work with have often experienced challenges in life and we use solution-focused techniques to help strengthen relationships and explore their preferred future.
