Over the past two weeks, we have reshaped our service to deliver vital mentoring sessions by phone or digital platforms where we can. And we have more to do to enable all elements of our programmes to continue delivering our important services. Unfortunately, not all families have the resources or technology to engage in this way. Lock-down is exacerbating the isolation and vulnerabilities of many of the families we work with.
To keep our services going, to help our ever more isolated families stay connected and supported, to recover from the disruptions and rebound in a more resilient way, we urgently need your support.
Any donation you can give today will directly support our mentoring and family programmes.
We are listening to our families to understand their needs and so our response to the crisis is still evolving. Here are some indicative costs for items and services we expect to provide:
£15 will pay for a Chance UK activity pack to keep every child engaged at home or with their mentor. This includes arts and crafts material, games and other basic resources.
£30 will pay for resource packs for parents.
£120 will pay for internet connection for the next 6 months for children and parents to access our digital mentoring and support.
£500 will help us cover operational running costs.
